Keeping track of job applications across dozens of companies can get overwhelming fast. In this video, we will walk through JobIntel's application tracking, a feature that gives you a visual board to track every application from first interest through to an offer.

Click Applications in the sidebar to open the application board. At the top, you will see analytics cards showing your total applications, how many you have submitted, your interview rate, and your offer rate. These update automatically as you move applications through the stages. Below that is the application board itself, organized into columns.

The application board organizes your applications into six main stages that run left to right: Interested, Applied, Phone Screen, Interview, and on to Offer and Accepted. The board scrolls sideways, so just slide right to reach the later stages. At the end of the row are two terminal stages, Rejected and Withdrawn, shown as collapsible sections. Click the chevron next to each label to expand or collapse them, keeping your board clean and focused on active applications.

To start tracking a job, go to the Jobs page and click on a job card to open its detail view. You will see a Track This Job button. Click it, and the job is added to your application board in the Interested column. Head back to the Applications page, and you will see it appear on the board right away.

You can also track jobs directly from the job feed using the bookmark icon on each card - no need to open the detail page. For even faster tracking, click Select in the feed toolbar, check multiple jobs, and click Track Selected to track them all at once. A floating bar at the bottom shows how many jobs you have selected.

As your application progresses, you can drag and drop entire application cards between columns. Grab any card and drag it to a new stage. The card moves smoothly to its new column. You can also move cards to Rejected or Withdrawn by dragging them to the terminal drop zones at the end of the board. For example, once you submit your application, drag the card from Interested to Applied. After a recruiter reaches out, drag it to Phone Screen. The analytics cards at the top update in real time as you make changes.

If you prefer not to drag and drop, open an application's detail page and use the Status dropdown there. Click the dropdown and select the new stage. The application moves to the correct column automatically. Both methods work equally well - use whichever feels more natural to you.

Click the job title on any application card to open the full application detail page. At the bottom you will find the Notes section, which is a timestamped timeline. Type a note in the Add a note text box and click Add Note to post it. Each note appears in the timeline with a relative timestamp like two hours ago or yesterday. You can mark a note as personal using the checkbox to keep it private. To remove a note, hover over it and click the delete icon. The timeline keeps a running log of your thoughts, interview feedback, and progress on each application.

Each application has a status timeline that logs every stage change with timestamps, giving you a clear history of your progress. You can also set follow-up reminders, which appear as badges on your application cards. If a reminder date passes, the badge turns red to flag it as overdue. This helps you stay proactive and responsive throughout the process.

When you receive and accept an offer, change the status to Offer Accepted. A congratulations dialog will appear celebrating your success. As a bonus, you will keep your full access for thirty days after accepting an offer, even if your subscription lapses, so you can wrap up any remaining job search activities.
