Knowing which skills employers are looking for can shape your career decisions. In this video, we will explore JobIntel's Skill Trends dashboard, a feature that analyzes your job feed to surface demand patterns, emerging skills, and salary insights.

Click Trends in the sidebar to open the trends dashboard. At the top, you will see period selector buttons for thirty days, ninety days, and six months. These control the time window for all the data on the page. Below the period buttons are four summary cards: Skills Tracked, Most Demanded, Fastest Growing, and Remote Jobs percentage. These give you a quick snapshot of your job market landscape.

The Most Wanted Skills card shows which skills appear most frequently in the jobs in your feed. Each skill is displayed with a progress bar indicating how many job listings mention it, along with a badge showing whether you already have that skill or if it represents a gap in your profile. This is a powerful way to validate that the skills you are investing in are actually in demand, or to identify new skills worth picking up.

The Rising Skills card highlights skills that are growing in demand. These are skills with increasing mention rates across recent job postings. Each one shows a growth rate percentage and a New badge for skills that have only recently appeared. Keeping an eye on rising skills helps you stay ahead of the curve and position yourself for where the market is heading.

The Salary Insights card breaks down compensation data by skill, showing minimum, maximum, and median salary ranges. Below that, the Location Distribution card shows where the jobs in your feed are concentrated, with a breakdown of remote versus on-site positions. Together, these give you a clear picture of what to expect in terms of compensation and work arrangement across different skills and locations.
