Version 3.8.1

A smarter browser extension, self-healing match scores, and interviews in your language

3.8.1 is a quality release: a major update to the JobIntel browser extension, match scores that keep themselves fresh, mock interviews in the language you'll actually interview in, and a handful of billing and navigation improvements.

Browser extension 2.0.0 — rolling out on the Chrome Web Store

A major update to the JobIntel extension is rolling out on the Chrome Web Store. Store review can take a few days, so if your extension still shows an older version, it will update automatically once approved.

  • Save a job in one click. Scored listings now show a labelled ☆ Save pill. Click it and the job lands in your JobIntel feed — no copying links, no switching tabs.
  • Saved jobs arrive complete. Saving from a board now imports the full posting — complete description, skills, and scoring — instead of a bare title.
  • Sharper scores on the board. Match badges are now scored on the job's description, not just its title, so the badge you see on Indeed or Glassdoor tracks much closer to the full analysis in your dashboard.
  • Badges stay put. Scores no longer pile up on the first listing on boards that reuse link targets, and they keep working as you scroll and paginate.
  • Glassdoor search results are covered. Badges and saves now work on Glassdoor's search results pages, not just job pages.
  • Eight supported boards. Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, and Dice in the US; Reed and Totaljobs in the UK; StepStone in Germany; and InfoJobs in Spain. Google for Jobs is no longer supported, and the extension no longer requests permission for it.
  • One plan, mirrored. The extension now follows your JobIntel subscription directly — sign in once and scoring works everywhere you're entitled, with no separate limits.
  • Chrome first, more browsers on the roadmap. The extension is built for Chrome today (about 70% of desktop browsing). Firefox and Edge versions are possible future additions once the Chrome extension has proven itself.

Match scores that heal themselves

  • Stale scores refresh automatically. Some older listings were stuck with all-or-nothing match scores (0% or 100%) computed by an earlier version of our scoring engine. Scoring is now version-stamped: when the engine improves, affected jobs are re-scored automatically, and we've refreshed existing feeds so your match percentages reflect the current engine.

Mock interviews in your native language

  • Practice the way you'll interview. Mock interviews can now be conducted in your native language — questions, follow-ups, and feedback included — so you can prepare for interviews in the language the real conversation will happen in.

Skill Trends you can click

  • Drill from trend to jobs. Rows in Rising Skills, Salary Insights, and Location Distribution now click through to your job feed filtered to exactly those jobs, and a Back-to-Trends link brings you back to where you left off.

Billing quality of life

  • Reactivate on the annual plan. Coming back after a pause? The reactivate screen now offers the annual plan (about 17% less than monthly) alongside monthly.
  • Checkout and billing return you to JobIntel. Finishing an action in the Stripe billing portal now brings you straight back to your dashboard instead of leaving you on a Stripe confirmation page.
  • No more false trial warnings. Switching between monthly and annual during your trial no longer triggers a spurious "your trial is ending" notice.

Fixed

  • Résumé skills stick. Skills extracted from your uploaded résumé during onboarding are persisted and re-surfaced on your profile reliably.
