Using the Chrome Extension

The JobIntel browser extension brings your job intelligence right to the job boards you already use. Instead of copying links and switching tabs, you can see match scores, check credibility, and save jobs in one click - all without leaving the page. In this video, we will walk through installing the extension, signing in, and using it every day.

The extension is built for Chrome. Open the Chrome Web Store, search for JobIntel, and click Add to Chrome. After installing, you will see the JobIntel icon in your browser toolbar - pin it for easy access. The extension is lightweight and only activates on supported job boards - it does not affect your browsing anywhere else.

The extension is part of your JobIntel account, so the first step is to sign in. Click the JobIntel icon in your toolbar and choose Sign in to JobIntel. That opens the JobIntel sign-in page in a new tab - sign in with your account, and the extension connects automatically. New to JobIntel? Choose Start your free trial to create an account first. Once you are connected, the extension uses your skills and preferences to score every listing you see.

With the extension connected, every job listing on a supported board gets a color-coded score badge right next to the title. Green means a great match, blue means strong, amber means fair, and gray means low. You can scan an entire page of results at a glance and immediately see which jobs are worth your time - the scores are personalized to your skill profile, not generic ratings.

Click any badge to open the detail panel. It shows your Match score with a visual bar, the Credibility rating, ghost-job signals if the listing looks suspicious, and whether the job is already in your dashboard. See one you like? Click Save to JobIntel - the star turns to a checkmark, and the job is saved to your dashboard, where it runs through the full pipeline: deduplication, skill matching, credibility scoring, and readiness. No copying links, no switching tabs.

The extension works on eight job boards: Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, and Dice in the US; Reed and Totaljobs in the UK; StepStone in Germany; and InfoJobs in Spain. It only activates on these supported sites, and stays out of the way everywhere else.

The extension is included with Job-Intel.
